The Artist
Anthony D. Rustik is a tattoo artist working out of The Artistry Realm in Indianapolis, Indiana. Originally from California, he brought a West Coast approach to black & grey realism and fused it with the anime work he grew up drawing.
Every piece starts as a conversation about the character — the powers, the weapons, the clothing, the moment you want frozen on skin. From there it becomes smooth grey wash, heavy contrast, and precise linework, with color dropped in only where it makes the design hit harder.
